Test rigs

Accelerate testing possibilities

Connect our flexible software development tooling to your test environment without adaptation. Unlike other testing tools in the marketplace, there is no need to adjust and adapt the test rig environment or RemotiveLabs tooling to get started.

Remotive Labs Test rigs - computer screen with code

Linux-based test rigs – fits directly into your environment

RemotiveLabs used in test rigs create a modern and flexible testing environment without requiring adaptation of existing equipment, just connect with the hardware of your choice (reference kits include Raspberry Pi or any Linux-based automotive hardware). The platform is modular and does not require engineers to work completely in the system or according to a set process. It is possible to use open-source resources, and there’s no use of proprietary scripting languages.

  • Adaptable to any environment, pipeline and testing setup – including LIN, Flexray, Ethernet and CAN.
  • Verify new software continuously using CI pipelines of your choice.
  • Use anywhere in the testing phase from modelling to deployment.

Top use cases —

RemotiveLabs platform makes continuous integration & automated testing with popular test frameworks easy. Facilitate fast prototyping, create test cases in any programming language and run diagnostics.

Continuous integration

Utilize directly in an existing pipeline or test framework (Pytest/Jenkins /GitLab etc), hooks into existing continuous integration setup and pipelines. Flash ECUs, hardware power toggling and run tests.

Automated testing

Hook into popular test frameworks to easily create test cases in any programming language (Python or language of choice) and run ECU diagnostics.

Prototyping

Suitable for Model in the loop (MIL), Software in the loop (SIL) and Hardware in the loop (HIL) – testing at various levels. Enable fast prototyping of non-accessible or future ECUs and components with our product RemotiveTopology. Suitable to test new systems or architectures i.e. mechatronic rim.

ECU simulation

Simulate traffic- / functionality, including restbus testing, when new components are being developed as well as run integration / load tests.
